This makes sure my blending effects only the piece. I selected single piece with lasso, inverted selection and hit the delete key. I inserted a blank layer below all the layers (Command + layerbutton), filled it with 50% gray and added shadow and emboss blending options. ![]() I should have done the previous step as this step. I duped layer and made puzzle with top layer and then on second layer and inverted puzzle to get piece and then moved that layer to top. I used a filter called "Alien Skin Xenofex 2" but that by itself was just OK. Here is a first effort, but I feel that it could look much better. Does anyone know how to apply a 'realistic' looking jigsaw puzzle effect to a photo? ![]()
